On 14th November, 1914, the 2nd Royal West Surrey (Queens) battalion of 22 Brigade, 7th Division, marched to trenches at La Bouteillerie, near Fleurbaix, where they stayed for the rest of the month or in billets in Rue de Bataille or Rue de Biache. During the evening of 29th November they were relieved but not before William Wright had been killed earlier in the day. |
